We had the Saturday lunch buffet at Tandoor Tavern, and the entire experience was outstanding. The buffet offered a wonderful variety of dishes, and everything we tried was fresh, flavorful, and well prepared. The goat curry was one of the highlights. The meat was incredibly tender and practically fell off the bone, while the gravy was rich, aromatic, and full of authentic spices. The chicken dum biryani was also excellent, with perfectly cooked rice, tender chicken, and a beautiful balance of flavors. The naan was fresh, soft, warm, and paired perfectly with the curries. The staff made our visit even more enjoyable. Everyone was friendly, attentive, and welcoming from the moment we arrived. They regularly checked on the buffet, kept the food trays filled, cleared the tables promptly, and made sure guests had everything they needed. Their warm hospitality made us feel comfortable and well taken care of throughout the meal. The restaurant had a clean, relaxed, and family-friendly atmosphere. Wish I have noticed recently published July Georgia department health inspection score of 77/C ( C— Marginal compliance. Significant violations )before the visit We visited for the Sunday buffet and were disappointed. The naan was extremely dry and crispy. When I asked for fresh naan, I was told it wasn’t included in the 16.99 buffet and I would have to pay $3 extra. It was frustrating to pay for a buffet and not be able to get fresh naan when what was served was stale. We were also surprised to see disposable paper plates and plastic cutlery, which made the dining experience feel like a cost-cutting measure. The combination of serving stale naan, refusing to provide fresh naan with the buffet and using disposable plates and cutlery gave me the impression that cost-cutting was being prioritized over the customer experience. Overall, the food quality and customer service did not meet expectations.

Food and service were both great! We visited for their Saturday lunch buffet, which is priced at $16.99 for adults and $9.99 for kids. The buffet had a good variety of dishes. Just note that drinks are not included, and the dessert selection was limited to only kheer. Our favorites were the Mutton Rogan Josh, which was absolutely delicious, along with the Tandoori Chicken and Peri Peri Wings. The other chicken curries were decent but didn’t stand out. They also had Ambur Chicken Biryani, which was just okay. The only reason I’m giving 4 instead of 5 stars is that they charged the kids’ buffet price ($9.99) for our 3-year-old, which felt a bit unusual. Looks like you need to be in a cradle with a bottle to be considered a free kid! 😂 Overall, the food and service were excellent, and I’d definitely come back to try the Mutton Rogan Josh again.

We recently hosted our 25th wedding anniversary celebration with approximately 200 guests. After sampling food from several establishments, including Tandoor Tavern, we were highly impressed and chose them to cater our event. The food was truly outstanding, and it was unanimously appreciated by all our guests. Their catering menu offered excellent flexibility, allowing us to choose from multiple packages that aligned well with our budget. Every dish stood out for its unique and authentic flavors. In particular, the Haryali, Tandoori, and Malai Kebabs, the mutton dishes, and the Pachi Mirchi Chicken were exceptional. All the curries had distinctive tastes that were widely praised. Equally important was the excellent communication and service throughout the process. The food was delivered exactly as committed, personally overseen by the owner, which added a great deal of confidence and professionalism. I would highly recommend Tandoor Tavern to anyone seeking quality catering. They not only meet expectations but consistently exceed them.

Amazing experience! The food here is absolutely delicious and truly authentic. You can tell a lot of care goes into the flavors, and I really appreciated that the spice level can be adjusted to your preference. The customer service was excellent, friendly, attentive, and welcoming. The restaurant is spacious with a great ambiance, making it perfect for families or groups. They also have a bar setup. Overall, a fantastic Indian restaurant with great food, atmosphere, and service. Highly recommended! Must try dishes are pachikaram chicken and chicken 65.
